About Us

Cox Analytical Systems is a Swedish company with office and workshops in the Gothenburg region, on the west coast of Sweden. Founded in 1992 by a group of x-ray physicists from the Chalmers University of Technology, this company was focused on micro XRF and radiographic technology from the start. Over the years we have developed and sold a number of different analytical instruments. From 2002 and onward, the focus is on the Itrax Corescanner and the Itrax Multiscanner. Today, Cox employs eight persons, which are dedicated to development, delivery and support of these analytical tools. Through the Itrax products, Cox is the major driving force in development of analytical technique in the fields of XRF and radiography for sediment cores, rock cores, and wood.
